  • The Accelerated RSO Training Course is designed to "expose" the candiates to all facits of radiation protection in one 8 hour day.
  • Candidates for Accelerated RSO Training must successfully complete the final exam. All candidates have 60 minutes to complete the exam.
  • The supplied course text book is Radiation Safety by Steve Fowler plus Fowler Associates booklets and hand outs.
  • The dress is casual.
  • Fowler Associates is registered with two states: North Carolina (registration no. S000317) and South Carolina (registration no. 00-0216) by the respective Radiological Control Authorities to provide radiation consultation and training.

1st Section : Multiple Choice Questions
19 questions worth 4 points each = Total Points for this Section = 76 points
These questions will be either right or wrong - no partial credit given

2nd Section : Essay Questions
3 questions worth 8 points each = Total Points for this Section = 24 points
These questions will be graded on approach, method and correct answer.

 

Exam Grade System
Minimum Passing Score - 70% - Satisfactory
